Alice In Wonderland

Now I know this was released a few years ago in 2010, but I didn't watch it until last week. I don't know why I waited this long, because it is a good movie. Johnny Depp is my favorite actor and he makes a good pirate as well as an excellent mad hatter.

I love the whole movie, it's very good. The only part that I find a little odd is the knave. You can just tell that he is fake. Super long legs and arms, the way he walks. Freaked me out when I first watched it.

 The Red Queen, Helena Bonham-Carter, was an excellent performance. "Off with their heads!" will always be a favorite line of mine. And they did a good job with making her head huge without making it look fake, if you know what I mean.

I adore the March Hare and how he is very mad and enjoys throwing things. I love the part where he notices his cup and spoon, makes me laugh!      The White Queen, Anne Hathaway, did her part well, but I have to say, white hair and black lipstick does not do her justice.     Oh, and how could I forget to mention the Cheshire Cat? He is another one of my favorites in this movie. Being lazy and evaporating when troubles comes shows how much you can depend on him, but we all know that we love him. I mean, look how adorable he is!! How can you not love a blue cat???

Last, but not least, Alice. Mia Wasikowska played her part very well. Captured the whole "Alice" role perfectly. And if I ever lose my muchness, I hope to find it again, like Alice did. Just not in having to slay a jabberwocky or something like that.

Overall, its a very good movie and if you haven't watched it like I did for a while, I suggest and encourage you to do so. You won't regret it!

The Hobbit

Last year, around Christmas, the first part of The Hobbit came out in theaters and can you believe it's almost been a whole year and now we get to see the next part?!? I, personally, am very excited, one reason because this part has the dragon in it, which (if you don't know already), I love dragons in movies. They are just so exciting!! And it's a blue dragon, even better! Blue happens to be my favorite color :)))
